Market & Competitor Intelligence

Commercial intelligence collected to the same evidentiary standard as everything else we do — and free of anything that would embarrass you if it were disclosed.

The competitive research market has a reputation problem, largely earned. Pretexting, false-flag approaches and dubious data purchases produce information that is inadmissible, unusable in a regulated environment, and actively dangerous to hold.

We do none of it. Filings, job postings, procurement records, patent activity, property moves, executive changes and public commentary produce a detailed and defensible picture. Every claim is cited, so your commercial team can see what the assessment rests on.

04 Common questions

Will you contact a competitor’s staff?

No. We do not use pretexting, false-flag approaches or covert elicitation. Beyond the ethics, information obtained that way is unusable in a regulated environment and creates liability for the client who commissioned it.

How is this different from a market research firm?

Method and standard of proof. We approach a commercial question the way we approach an intelligence requirement — sourced, corroborated, with confidence stated — rather than through surveys and interviews.

Can you monitor competitors continuously?

Yes. Standing monitoring on a defined competitor set, alerting on material change such as leadership moves, funding, filings or expansion signals.

Tell us what you would want watched. We will scope a pilot on it, in writing, before anything is agreed.
