Intelligence for NGOs and foundations
NGOs are frequently targeted for what they do rather than what they hold — and they are usually the least resourced to see it coming.
Start a pilotCoordinated misinformation, hostile narrative campaigns and the targeting of named staff are recurring risks for organisations doing contested work. They are also risks that arrive without warning to anyone who is not monitoring for them, and that a small communications team cannot absorb once they have reach.
We provide standing monitoring and early-warning reporting scoped to the exposure and the budget, so the organisation prepares a response rather than reacting to one. Where staff safety is the concern, we assess it directly.
- Coordinated misinformation
- Organised campaigns targeting the organisation’s work or funding.
- Staff targeting
- Named individuals identified, profiled and harassed for their role.
- Operating environment risk
- Political, regulatory and security change in the jurisdictions you work in.
- Donor and partner exposure
- Reputational contamination through associated organisations.
01 Representative matter
Matter D — France
A coordinated misinformation campaign, still forming
Standing monitoring of reputational threats detected an emerging coordinated misinformation campaign. Early-warning reporting gave the organisation time to prepare a response rather than react to one.

03 Common questions
Is this affordable for a small organisation?
Scope and cost scale to the exposure. A narrow standing watch on the organisation’s name and a handful of staff is a substantially smaller engagement than corporate monitoring, and it is where most of the value sits for a small team.
Can you assess risk to staff in the field?
Yes — operating environment assessment, digital footprint reduction for named staff, and monitoring for targeting. Where physical security advice is required beyond our scope, we say so and refer.
Will you work on politically sensitive matters?
We work for organisations, not causes, and we apply the same standard regardless: lawful collection, documented sourcing, stated confidence. We decline work we could not stand behind, and we say why.
Tell us what you would want watched. We will scope a pilot on it, in writing, before anything is agreed.
